Trustap is on the move! We are a funded startup based in Cork offering an exciting new technology to the ever-growing electronic payments industry. We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who will help set up and maintain the infrastructure for our high-traffic platform. Security and stability are big requirements for our platform, so knowledge and experience in these domains is a must.

This will be an exciting role for someone who is interested in building the infrastructure for a large-scale platform from the ground up, using best practices, and getting to apply their own ideas to the growth of a stable SaaS product. Applicants for this role should be passionate, creative, and confident in their own ideas, but should also be able to articulate and justify their ideas clearly, as well as being able to take and apply constructive criticism.


  • Managing local versions of third-party services, such as Keycloak, OpenVPN, Vault
  • Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Dockerising third-party services when necessary
  • Setting up and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform
  • Maintaining and documenting repositories for local versions of third-party services
  • Setting up and maintaining centralised logging and processing
  • Hardening server and network security using best practices
  • Ensuring uptime of services
  • Using best practices


  • Proficient in Python and Bash scripting
  • Experience and knowledge of common Docker usage, including building, running, and deploying images and containers
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Linux, including command line usage, service architecture, and security
  • Experience using AWS, including setting up and managing VPNs, managing users and permissions, and ensuring robust security
  • Backend development experience and experience with programming Go are nice to have
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland full-time
