What we’re looking for

• At Output Sports we make elite level sports-science simple and scalable. We have shrunk the sports-science laboratory into a tiny wearable system, revolutionising how athletes and coaches test, track and optimise their performance.
• Output Sports is experiencing unprecedented growth, boasting a remarkable 50% quarter-on-quarter expansion. Our footprint extends across iconic leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLS, and we are proud partners with colleges across all divisions and cutting-edge performance facilities around the world. Output is now tracking over a million exercise repetitions month on month.
• We are looking for an ambitious product manager to join our growing team. The candidate will work closely with Engineering, Sport Science and Founders to define, manage and deliver on our product roadmap. This is a growing function within Output, and there is huge potential for growth in the role.
  
  
  

Responsibilities

• You’ll define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring the engineering team is always working on the most impactful features and projects.
• You’ll work closely with our sports-science team, founders and directly with customers, to deeply understand the problems and needs of our users.
• At Output, we prioritise speed and simplicity in our solutions. You’ll work to scope features into their MVP state, and then iterate based on user feedback and usage to achieve the end goal.
• You’ll work closely with the engineering team to deliver products in a predictable and reliable manner.
  
  
  

Your profile

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a product manager, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products.
• Experience in a startup or similar environment.
• Experience working closely with software engineers, and a strong understanding of software development practices and project tracking software.
• A background in design or UX is definitely a plus.
• An ability to quickly make decisions and communicate the rationale used to arrive at them.
• Strong experience interacting with users to gather both qualitative and quantitative data to better inform product direction.

Output originated from an interdisciplinary collaboration between a physiotherapist and an electronic engineer in a Data Analytics research centre in University College Dublin, Ireland. Having launched in early 2020, we now work with over 500 clients globally including Premier League, MLB, NHL, NCAA, Champions League, International Rugby and Olympic sporting setups.
