About The Role

As a copywriter on our team, you will define our public voice and be at the fore-front of new product releases.

We understand that the best copy comes from a deep understanding of the target audience. That's why we value your ability to deeply understand the subject and empathise with the PETs (Privacy Enhancing Technologies) community, to put yourself in their shoes, and to create meaningful connections through your writing. By blending storytelling with technical expertise, you'll shape the future of PETs and make a real impact.

The role is initially a 1 year contract, with a possibility of extension. While the position is remote, the whole team meets in our Bangalore office every six weeks for a 1 week sprint.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Become an expert on all things PETs (Privacy Enhancing Technologies) by reading on the subject, following PETs thought leaders and staying up to date with market trends.
• Getting to know the Oblivious and Antigranular brands, shape and refine their unique communication styles.
• Write compelling and engaging content pieces for social media platforms, blogs, Oblivious and Antigranular’s Discord channels to expand, engage and educate our community.
• Participate in the redesign of the website and be the word-wizard behind the mission of Oblivious and company’s products.
• Reshaping and writing our technical documentation to make it easily accessible and understandable.
• Writing external communications (emails, presentations) for community, clients and investors.
• Become an integral part of the team and participate in meetings, identify content gaps and recommend topics to address.
• Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content pieces.

What You'll Need

• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
• Portfolio of published work showcasing your writing abilities.
• Experience working closely with various teams to develop creative and engaging content.
• Ability to understand technical subjects, taking complex matters and explaining them in simple terms.
• Willingness to learn about PETs (Privacy Enhancing Technologies) and stay up to date with industry updates.
• Be able to work independently as well as being a pro-active member of the team in a fast-changing and growing company.
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
