Senior analog (/mixed signal) design engineer
MPS is looking for a senior analog (/mixed signal) design engineer to join the audio product line. In this pivotal role, you will actively work with the MPS Enschede design team on complex mixed-signal audio and amplifier IP and full custom audio ICs for the consumer and automotive audio markets. These include but are not limited to controller ICs and class-D amplifiers.
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, and you must have demonstrated extensive success in analog or analog/mixed-signal design with an emphasis of experience on topics such as high-resolution data converters, audio circuits, high-voltage CMOS, BCD processes, switching regulators, etc.

Activities/Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Analog (/mixed signal) circuit design from conception to production.
- Modeling, simulating, and verifying analog/mixed-signal circuits in Cadence, Matlab/Simulink, Verilog-A, etc.
- Provide guidance to other engineers, and mentor juniors and students.
- Work together with different disciplines, such as digital design teams, QTPE, and application/customer support teams.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and optimization of designs.
- Estimate and manage time/tasks completion to target schedule.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of analog (/mixed signal) design.
- Strong skills in CMOS analog design and layout.
- Solid understanding and expertise in one or more of the following topics: ADC, DAC, Sigma-delta modulators, Audio, PLL, DC/DC converters, PMU, class-D amplifiers.
- Design experience in BCD nodes and/or deep-submicron technologies.
- Proven involvement in bringing ICs to high-volume production.
- Experience in lab-testing and silicon debugging.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to build Verilog-A(MS) behavioral models.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
Academic Education: PhD/BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering
Previous Professional Experience: 10+ years’ experience in analog or analog / mixed-signal design
Language Skills: English – Fluent & Dutch fluency a plus
Others: Good written/verbal communication skills and strong teamwork/collaboration.
